At the end of the norm period, the school must calculate whether you have had overtime hours during the school year. If you have overtime, the school’s administration decides whether you will receive time off or overtime payment.
Time off in connection with overtime
If you are granted time off for overtime, you must be granted 50% more than the actual number of overtime hours. If you have 40 overtime hours, you must be granted 60 hours of time off.
Payment of overtime
Each hour of overtime you have had in addition to full-time must be paid at 1/1924 of your total fixed annual salary at the time of payment + 50%.

Permanent and temporary local salary supplements
OK 08 supplement
Level 4 supplement
Teaching supplement
Boarding school supplement (efterskole)
Special OK 13 supplement
Assistant school administrator supplement
Salary components that are NOT included in your overtime payment:
Locally agreed lump sum supplement
Inconvenience allowance (independent primary and lower secondary schools), unless there is a local agreement on payment of a fixed amount each month.
