5% interest on your salary account
Lån & Spar is owned by i.a. Frie Skolers Lærerforening. If you are a member, you own us. Therefore, you get, among other things, Denmark’s best salary account with a whopping 5% interest.
To get 5% interest on your salary account, you must be a member of Frie Skolers Lærerforening and have completed your education. You must collect your entire finances in Lån & Spar (LSBprivat®Løn is part of a combined package of products and services, on the basis of which your finances are assessed).
You get 5% interest on the first DKK 50,000 in the salary account. From DKK 50,001-500,000 the interest rate is 1.25%. After that, the interest rate is 2.25% on the balance. The interest is calculated daily and attributed annually. You do not need to move your mortgage loans, but possibly changes to existing mortgage loans or new mortgage loans must be recorded through Lån & Spar and Totalkredit. The interest rates are variable and apply per 29 July 2024.
Earn bonus on your purchases
Forbrugsforeningen is a loyalty club for you who are members of a trade union in one of the organized trade unions.
You get:
- A bonus card for 4,000 shops, restaurants and webshops
- Bonus on EVERYTHING – even on offer
- No minimum purchase – bonus from the first kroner
- DKK 0 in quota the first year – after that it costs DKK 132 per year.
Here’s how it works:
- You get a combined bonus and payment card that works like a Dankort
- When you use the card, you get a bonus on everything you buy at Forbrugsforeningen’s 4,000 shops, restaurants and webshops
- The bonus is earned automatically and deposited into your member account
- Every year in December, the money is automatically paid to your member account.
The bonus rates vary with our many partners.
The lowest rate is 1.10% and the highest is 30%. Most are at 9%. You can always see bonus rates in our app and on our website.
It costs DKK 0 to be a member for the first 12 months. After that, it costs DKK 132 per year (this corresponds to only DKK 11 per month).

Free books with inspiration
As a member, you can download the books in the Pædagogisk Rækkevidde series for free as both audio and e-books.
The series has been developed in collaboration between Aarhus University Press, the Danish Teachers’ Association and the Free Schools’ Teachers’ Association.
The idea with the books is to give teachers knowledge in a new way, which can be used directly in daily work in the classroom.
The physical books can also be purchased at a special member price of DKK 79 (a saving of DKK 50)

Good price for extra cover on your group life insurance
All monthly-salaried teachers and kindergarten class leaders at free primary schools and post-secondary schools are covered by group life insurance in Forenede Gruppeliv.
As a member of Frie Skolers Lærerforening, you also have the option of taking out voluntary group life insurance at an attractive price.
Group life insurance has three benefits:
- In the event of death, the next of kin receive DKK 425,000. In addition, the deceased’s children receive DKK 30,000 per child under 21 years of age.
- If you are affected by a critical illness, you can receive a payment of DKK 150,000, and you decide for yourself what the money should be used for. On Forenede Gruppeliv’s website, you can see which illnesses trigger the DKK 150,000.
- If children (under the age of 18) of employees who are covered by the group life insurance contract a critical illness, which is specified in the insurance conditions for adults, an insurance sum is paid. The sum insured for children under 18 who contract a critical illness amounts to DKK 50,000.
